Assuming you have a convenient power outlet adjacent to your backyard, a powerline range extender would seem to be the best option. The first device is plugged in close to your router, and the second plugged in where you need wireless access.I haven't used one, but you can check the specs..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are better off with a wired 2nd router. This is not going to cover all those area at good strength. Connect a 2nd router to your main router with Ethernet wire, and configure the 2nd one to work as access point / repeater instead of a router. Disable DHCP on the second one. Let the primary one do DHCP.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd say you should get a better signal but not a full one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you run it to the garage you will need to put in another wireless router. If there's no wire mess in the walls, it will probably resolve your signal loss. Just make sure you PW it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it would
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.plug an extender in out side the house on the back porch - if you have enough signal. When you plug it in it will tell you if the signal is strong enough to boost
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think an extender will help but not as much as Ethernet. I have tried several extenders and the Netgear AC750 has been the best yet, but still second to a direct connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My house is built in 1948 and it is exactly made of the same old materials, this range extender will work perfectly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This will solve your problem and you won't have to run Ethernet cables everywhere. I located my Netgear AC750 about 80' away from my ATT U-Verse wireless modem and it picks up fine that far away and then it throws full signal strength another 80'. I now have NO signal loss 160' away from my ISP's wifi router! This thing is cool!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Really only way is to have one to experiment with. After set up, you carry it around and plug it into different outlets and it indicates if the signal strength received is adequate before rebroadcasting.
