• A:Answer The extender needs to be at least within 50’ of the WiFi router to pick up the signal to repeat the signal to make it work. Preferably 30ft or less is really your best option. Super easy to install.

• A:Answer I purchased the extender and got it set up. Then, immediately after the setup, it prompted me to download an update. After downloading the update, the app that controlled the extender could not recognize it and I was unable to use it for my system. I ended up returning the extender, which is frustrating because I really need it so my ATT TV will stop rebooting all the time.
