No problems. You have to plug it in very close to your computer. Followed the instructions, gave it a password and it worked. Only issue was it took longer than I expected for the unit to boot up. Then moved it downstairs and it was ready to use for my smart tv.

If you use the WPS button on your main Router and the WPS button on the Extender, it will sync up...at least this worked for me. Keep in mind that this is a budget wifi extender, so placement will take some work to get the best signal. There is a support number, if you run into problems., but I recommend the WPS route to get this extender to sync.
