No, as long as you stay at 5 cameras or below with one base station and are ok with the 7 day / 1GB limitation.

Not mandatory but they offer a separate cloud storage account so if you want to store recordings, you'll need that. Otherwise you'd have to review and save to your computer almost every day.

if you set up more then 6 cameras then yes there is a monthly charge but if you just set up 5-6 cameras then no it's free
