• No cellular back-up. Well you need decent speed especially if your going to be viewing live feed often as it can affect other network traffic you might have at home. If your on dial up or have a max speed of 10mpbs, I don't know if this will be sufficient for you. The higher the speed the better.

• not sure on speed but there is no cell backup. it needs wifi. also worth noting if there is a power outage it will fail unless you have an ADP poor back up for the router.

• I have DSL rated at 20mbs down and 768kbs up. These speeds support online viewing of live video but can sometimes take a few seconds to connect to the cameras and buffer occasionally.

• From experience, the faster the better for smooth live playback. I'd suggest 6Mbps or faster. Netgear states 1Mbps minimum.
