• You can adjust the sensitivity; but, I'm not sure if you can get the results you are looking for. We live on a busy street and cars tend to set it off a lot. We have had to be careful in aiming as well as sensitivity.

• No, it's a motion camera. Mine goes off when even a wasp flys in front. You can manage the camera from your phone. Turn/on off as you see fit. With 3 kids and 2 pets I put my cameras on a schedule I don't expect motion.
