• Yes it will be clear you can also chose image quality but due to lack of a secure mounting bracket it can easly be stolen

• I have one of my cameras pointing through the window and it is clear - I tried to use with screen on and it was not good.

• The only problem with mounting it inside and aiming out a window is you might get a reflection off of the window. This is especially true if the window faces into the sun or you are using the infrared at night.

• Yes, it will mount indoors to monitor an area looking outdoors. The video is high definition so the clarity will depend on the window it's looking out of.
