• A:Answer No cellular back-up. Well you need decent speed especially if your going to be viewing live feed often as it can affect other network traffic you might have at home. If your on dial up or have a max speed of 10mpbs, I don't know if this will be sufficient for you. The higher the speed the better.

• A:Answer If by "continuously" you mean you want it recording all the time so you can review the video to check the weather from any time during the recording, then yes - BUT: 1 - You'll have to buy a subscription to their cloud service to store that volume of data. 2 - You'll need to train a primate, or invent a robot, to replace the batteries frequently. Actually, you really need an AC powered camera for this to solve problem #2. As for problem #1, the best solution would probably be to have your wired camera connected to a DVR that you could access via the internet to review the video. Plus the relevant software to interface the two, and allow you to control the recording(s). Which, in reality, probably means you need one of the proprietary DVR based systems...sorry.

• A:Answer It varies with the sensitivity you set and whether the motion is directly towards the camera or across the field of view. Across works better than direct. Mine work well up to about 30 feet or so at 90% sensitivity. It's possible you can push that a bit further with acceptable results.

• A:Answer 300 feet is the max you can have this camera from the base station. No you cannot run cable from the camera to the base station as these cameras do not support that.

• A:Answer leaves and rubish have not triggered mine, but heavy wind that actually swayed big limbs did, I turnd off the motion sensor for that camera until the 35-40mph wind settled down. The way that I've located my cameras I still had coverage. I once had a hummingbird trigger motion as he tried to kiss my camera LOL.

• A:Answer You can adjust the sensitivity; but, I'm not sure if you can get the results you are looking for. We live on a busy street and cars tend to set it off a lot. We have had to be careful in aiming as well as sensitivity.
