• Yes, but the motion recording stops. You can press the record button while in live mode but it will only record for around 20 min's then it reverts back to sensing motion and recording witch is good as long as your default setting are set up that way. Very easy to do... Issue is the lag time between motion recording. You have a choice of 10 sec-2 min, The timer starts at first motion, stops even tho there is still motion, takes around 20 sec lag time to reset and record another... You can miss allot in 20 seconds !!!

• yes. They have indoor cameras too, that you can add to the system. Remember, no sound....
