The ideal way to check if a modem/router works with your internet service provider or not is by logging to their account page and check for approved 3rd party wifi modem/routers they have listed. Atleast on xfinity's page this list is visible, so I think on other ISP's page there should be similar list of approved devices. Check below:- https://business.sparklight.com/support/faq/what-compatible-modems-are-supported-sparklight-business https://compatiblemodems.com/cable-one/ In these sites mostly only modem or only routers are mentioned but not the combo like this one. So you can compare by AC1600 or AC17500 or similar specifications.
