• A:Answer No. It does not have the VOICE ports. So it cannot connect to VOIP. This Netgear wifi router modem has only 2 ethernet ports and 1 USB port. The wifi routers with modem having voice ports are much expensive compared to this one. Netgear has one, when I was researching for my purchase I saw that one around $300 while this one I got for around $100.

Mines is at the entrance of the house, the signal is weak in the back, the back is about 30 feet away but I have a kitchen in between with appliances. I would say that maybe it would cover a 1200 sq ft home provided that the modem is centrally located

• A:Answer This equipment is awful. I think the signal is intermittent when I turn on my laptop I do not get the internet signal on the first try. But when I try the second time it works. This has affected my ring door bell also. Ring door bell does not pick up all movements it picks up 2/3. So the first time you pass by the door bell after 2 hours it only picks up the return trip. When this virus is over my plan is to buy another modem.

• A:Answer If you're speaking in terms of VOIP, (voice over internet protocol) where you can use a land line phone connector ( RJ11) that plugs into the router, like AT&T's modem/router has, unfortunately the answer is no. Your best bet for a modem/router combo with RJ11 voice ports is the Arris SURFboard AC-1750 dual band wi-fi router with cable modem. It's good quality combo, a little bit more than the Netgear, but it's compatible to use with Comcast's service and is available at Best Buy!! Hope I answered your question, and thank you for asking!!
