• Call your provider. Charter uses Netgear.

• I believe there is a port on the unit for a phone connection. As for you provider I'm not sure I think it may list the providers it works with on the website or on the box.

• It may work with the Internet service, contact your service provider to be sure but this modem does not incorporate telephony, so unless the voice service you have connects directly through ethernet cable (voip) it likely will not work.
