no this will not make your internet faster. you generally have to have your service provider allow you a faster speed. they throttle you to what ever you are paying for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have your devices hard wired into this modem/router you will get just about all the speed you currently pay for through whichever internet provider you have. Plus the Ethernet cable you use plays a major factor in your speed results too.

Speeds are according to your plan with them. I currently have "blast" speeds UP TO 75mbps, but worth the money with this router modem combo

This router includes the cable modem also. I replaced that old set of equipment with this new one. I did not measure the speed etc. But when I worked from home, I did not see difference between being at work vs working from home. But with the old equipment, there was a significant slowness was seen.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The modem can handle any speed Comcast provides on your account. It could be that you haven't paid for the speed you would like. The modem will not give you a faster connection than you pay Comcast for. Check what you are paying for then run a speed test on your current modem. If you have Wi-Fi on your plan, the Wi-Fi on this one is very fast - movies are smooth and it can handle a lot of Wi-Fi connections at once without dropping anything.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It uses 2.4 Ghz and 5ghz the 5 Ghz band doesn't get interference like the 2.4. I wasn't getting the speedsvi was paying for until I got this router. You just have to be able to use the 5 Ghz band which most cell phones smart tvs and streaming boxes already have. If your laptop is older you might have to buy an ac wireless adapter our new wireless card.
