• A:Answer Not sure,but I would assume so. A router is a router. We cut the cord with Xfinity 18 months ago. All we pay for is internet from them. We have smart TV's and everything connects well wi this router.

• A:Answer i dont know if it works with 1gb but we have had nothing but problems with it, our internet provider has been at our house many times and has determined it is something with the new router/modem, not happy. we did researcha nd said it was a good one and it was too late to take it back to the store. so we are out almost 200 for one. we have tried talking to netgear and so far still it is not resolved, it is not best buys fault, we think the modem/router is faulty. hopefully we will get this resolved soon

• A:Answer I do not have Alexa, so I don't know. What I do know is that somewhere between Mediacom and this model that the internet randomly cuts out in our house, and I know the manufacturer and the internet provider will blame each other, the bottom line is that something doesn't work and needs to be fixed
