“Would it be possible to add on a separate wifi router to this? Is it possible to turn of the wifi from the modem and solely use the added on router? Looking to add on a much stronger router in stead of using this built in wifi.”

Yes that is what I am doing, just finished the installation. It sees the separate wifi router as just another network device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this modem built in Wi-Fi can be turned off. Just open the menu and uncheck the wi-fi. You can then use any other Wi-Fi router.
