QuestionCompatible with Sensi Wireless Thermostat?Is this Modem/Router compatible with my Sensi Wireless Thermostat? I have an Xfinity Modem/Router right now but it will not connect. The only way it would connect was when they opened my wireless network up so it was no longer password protected. Obviously that isn't something that is safe to do so I decided I would just buy another one and stop renting from Xfinity. The only info they could tell me at all was the encryption codes must not match up.

- Answer To my knowledge, there is an app for that device that you can download to your smartphone or iPhone. There is no problem connecting either of those to this device. I have not experienced any issues with apps including an app to share files between devices. Anytime you allow remote access to your network, you have a security issue. Not sure how you are trying to connect your sensi thermostat. I would just use the app

Questionwhat wifi range extender is compatable with router?I work in my garage so I just need a Wi-Fi range extender in order to get my stuff done but i don't want to reduce speed if possible. my last option is to buy a stronger router which I am trying to avoid. any good suggestions

- Answer All Range Extenders will reduce speed to a point (because you are adding a new step, computer->Extender->Router->Internet). However any Netgear Range Extender should work fine/best with a Netgear router for easiest setup.
