“I am being told by my cable tech that this is a ‘bridge’ modem and is not the modem I should have ordered to work with the cable service. I see no comments in the product description information to that effect. What is my alternative modem?”

• Call your cable company tech support and ask if this modem cm1200 will work with there system. It should but you will also need a router to use with the modem for your ethernet connection and your wifi.

• You can always use the service providers modem/ wireless router if you're running the "1 gig" speed from the provider. Hope that helps
