I am really confused. I have xfinity all in one modem and I do not have regular phone service. What other providers can it use. Is it good on a 1800 square ft home. Mine is cable and used for the wifi. Is this cable of doing what I need it to do? null

This modem would work but you would need a router to use the wifi features you need. This modem does not support phone bundled from your cable company.

Not sure I understand completely, but realize that you will also need a wifi router to cover your living area. We are about the same size, and the broadcast with this modem plus the AX8 completely eliminated dead spots.
