• Yes. This is a modem only, youd need a seperate router.

• Yes, this model is a modem only. They do have models that have WiFi.

• Yes. I use Xfinity Comcast too and this router did not play well with anything else on our system, including Google WiFi. I returned this one and instead bought the Arris SBG8300 which has a built-in router and worked super easily on a plug and play basis.

• Yes you would need a wifi router if you wanted to use wifi.

• Yes, you will need a separate wi-fi system. I use the Orbi system from Netgear
