I have a Century Link modem and a TP-Link router. The extender works perfectly with my set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If youre problem is slow incoming speed you will only extend your current speed. Download a speed test application and see what your speed is. Get about ten feet from your modem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nothing can increase your speed above what your router provides. The better question would be, how strong is your connection to the wireless router? If the connection is weak, this could definitely help. However, keep in mind that you typically improve the connection at the expense of speed, so if anything, it would slow down your connection. So in the end the connection would be stronger/more stable, but slower.
