• It should help with extending the Comcast unit. Also, we have our Smart TV and our DirecTV DVR connected to it now. They both work great with this router.

• I have Comcast X1 service and it definitely helped increase my signal. My Router is upstairs on one end of the house and I placed the Extender in the basement on the farther end and it works great! I definitely can tell that the signal has increased at the farthest end of the house. No more buffering!
