• I think the quick answer is none. We replaced our Cox modem with the Nighthawk. I simply switched devices, screwing the terminal end of the Cox (internet) cable into the back of the new Nighthawk modem. Our TV was already operating off our old wireless router so we paired the TV with Nighthawk wirelessly. The conversion process was easy but took most of my afternoon to complete.

• You'll connect it to the cable coming into your house from your cable provider. It's a wireless router, so your TV will need to connect wirelessly to the router.
