“Does this have gateway? I specifically asked the BestBuy rep for a modem compatible with the Xfinity XB6. This will be the 3rd modem I am getting from Best Buy in the last 2 weeks. I need a modem with 3.1 docsis, 1Gb AND gateway for my landline.”

Yes, this is a gateway modem/router. I have Xfinity cable come into this router and broadcast wifi throughout my home. Healthy number of ethernet ports for hardwiring devices, too.
