Some of the routers that are new are no longer compatible due to spectrum moving to a faster technology. If your router is a 3.0 then it will not work. I believe they stepped up to a faster speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to call Netgear to get it to work properly with all my smart devices. It hooked up to Comcast right away but I had problems with some Alexa and smart switches. Make sure you go to Netgear for help other companies will help but there are fees.

From un packaging to complete internet & router setup took less than 15 minutes. No phone calls only the use of the software for complete install. Not sure what was missed in your case but once selected as Spectrum the Nighthawk software completed the connection.
