Parental control for this device is average, I think you will be able to set it in a way it'll work for your needs, nonetheless I will recommend you change your DNS to OPEN DNS you can google it for more info, there is lots of videos on youtube about how it works and setup. OPEN DNS is amazing, it is what I use in my home router, you just set and forget, It'll block whatever you want it to block.
