depends on wifi 6 or 5 and construction. We get good coverage throughout our 3700 sq ft (built in 2007) 2 story. Router is upstairs and is able to supply first floor full coverage without issue on the wifi5 2.4ghz & 5ghz bands. Wifi6 seems to go a bit further even outside pretty easily

Please try again later.In my case. mounting/installing the router on the 2nd floor center bedroom room of a two story home gives adequate signal coverage, (good 2.4Ghz and slightly less 5Ghz) throughout the house, including the basement office, with no dropouts or dead zones. (approximately 3200 square ft. of area). Of course results will vary with home geometry and material composition. (Guess I got lucky........)
