QuestionWhat is the estimated square footage this router will support?

- Answer depends on wifi 6 or 5 and construction. We get good coverage throughout our 3700 sq ft (built in 2007) 2 story. Router is upstairs and is able to supply first floor full coverage without issue on the wifi5 2.4ghz & 5ghz bands. Wifi6 seems to go a bit further even outside pretty easily

- Answer Possibly. Depending on the closeness of the adjacent house, the composition of exterior walls or other obstructions in between, and the height/elevation of the Blackhawk router installation.

QuestionI chose this router because I was told it’s selective and let’s you choose which application uses what speed. How would I go about setting up two networks? One for 2.4 G and one for 5G so I can pick what application uses what speed ? Thank you.

- Answer Make sure router is installed in a central location of the home. Many internet service install techs are paid by piece work. Most are an in an out service. They typically don't get too excited about having to fulfill a request to run a new cable or relocate. It's their job, you are the paying customer. Ask questions and request.

- Answer Sre, if you have a Verizon package with unlimited hotspot and a newer celphone, you can use the phone for simple internet. I hve used my phone to game on a PS5 when my cable internet is out. There are other verizon packages that are cheaper byt have a set amount of hotspot data. It all depends on what you want to do.

- Answer You need to disable "bridge mode" on youe modem/router combo. It should be in the software for the modem/router.

- Answer This is a router, not a modem. It will work with your existing ISP, but if your modem also includes a WiFi router, I would suggest turning the WiFi off on your modem and using this, or otherwise make sure this is using a different SSID than the WiFi router in your modem. Alternately, you can use the WiFi router in your modem for all your smarthome devices, and put all the other devices on this router. That way, the bad security of your smarthome devices will be less of a threat to your laptops, smartphones, etc.
