Yes, you can set them individually, or use Smart Connect to combine them. I use them separately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can do manual or set it to automatic. You can even pause a connection to a certain device from the iPhone app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you enable SmartConnect it will bundle both 2.4ghz and 5ghz into a single SSID, and the router will auto-assign based on what it thinks is best. Otherwise, you will set up 2 seperate SSIDs and can manually choose the one you want to connect to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dnt see and option that allows you to decide. I don't even see two different SSID broadcasts for each. It just broadcasts one ID and connects which it choses
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it has that option. If you want to chose the 2.4G or 5G network do NOT check "Enable Smart Connect" Leave it unchecked in the "Advanced Wireless setup"You will also have to create different names for each band like: XXXX2.4G and XXXX5G
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can do it either way. If you set it up with automatic selection, it gives both frequencies the same name and password. If you leave the auto select mode off you can set each frequency up separately like in the past.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have an option to sellect which signal you want to connect to. Or you can setup it up to pick the best option, QOS. You can even setup one network SSID for both 2.4 and 5g and your device can toggle between them depending on traffic on signal strength. I just pick my own.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can configure it either way. Set-up with 2 separate WiFi names - one for each band - or set it for one WiFi name with the unit assigning the connection type to the device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The router will stream both 5 and 2.4ghz. At the same time requiring only one connection You can make that happen within the app. When is comes it streams them separately requiring you to sign into 2.4 or 5 separately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you set up different SSIDs for each frequency, then you can select which device connects to which wifi network, if you make them the same, the router will decide.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
