• I have TDS fiber. I thought I needed a VDSL modem, but customer support said I only needed a WiFi router. If your PC connects directly to the ONT and the internet works, then you only need a WiFi router.

• Yes. It works perfectly with that modem. Just make sure to go into your modem settings and disable your modem from broadcasting wifi signals, so they won't "fight" each other. If you don't know how to do that, a quick Google search can show you. It's family common.
