“Listing says, "Advanced features include a 1.6GHz processor and 24x8 channel bonding for up to 960Mbps download speeds." Under Features, it says, "Best for cable provider plans up to 400Mbps speed". I have 500Mbps plan with Comcast. Is this compatible?”

It is best todo an speed test to see your true down load speed. I have next to the highest internet plan and this gateway is well able to handle the speed. Most companies know that their systems are only capable of listed speed in an perfect situation and I have not seen that yet. I have had Comcast off and on since 1985.
