“Comcast website says the modem is not matching the speed of their service (it is gig service) because of "filters" and constantly wants me to use their modem. I see no issues with service, but what filters are they talking about?”

The only thing that I have to say is the modem speed is fine,don't have a problem with BB modem at all ,for filter Iam with you don't know what filter they are talking about,my modem is hooked up and running,the only problem I have is with their home security system they will not allow me to hook in to my modem they have to use their's and not mine
