• My router is on my main level, so I bought two extenders one for the top floor and the bottom floor. This router is pretty powerful and they weren't really needed but I got them to be safe. I bought the netgear wall plug ins and they work perfectly. I believe other extenders will work with it also, but Best Buy associates can help you answer any questions even if your buying on line with a chat.

• Yes, you can use a WiFi range extender with this router. There is no particular brand required and any extender, that supports 2.4GHz or 5GHz WiFi bands, can be used.
