If your TV has Wifi, it will work.

There's one connection for a coax cable signal from whoever your cable service provider is (I'm not familiar with Optimum TV but I believe it can be any cable service, not limited to Comcast Xfinity). Once you activate the modem with your service provider, you can surf the web by either connecting physically to one of the (4) 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, or wireless through a 802.11 b/g/n 2.5 - 5.0 Ghz wifi signal. This device also provides (2) standard RJ-11 telephone ports that can be used if you subscribed to phone services through your cable service provider (may have to check with them to verify that this device supports their phone services).
