Yes, this is all you need besides your router. I have the same setup!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Think of it as an AP (Access Point) it's simply extending the WiFi network based on it's location. I have moved my SSID to another location and I simply WPS my router and connected to the extender without any issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a similar concern but it works well with my Nighthawk. The software allows you to select which network to extend. The device appears to do the same as a mesh system as you don’t see it (the extended network) on your available networks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need a base. This connects directly to your router and broadcasts the same SSID.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This extender uses your existing router as the extender base. It created a dedicated connection between the router and the extender.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All you need is this extender and it connects directly to your wireless network. I can't remember, but I think you can use the same SSID or create another one. It's nice to be able to use the same SSID.
