• Buy a good Router I got the Nighthawk. Ask a Best Buy salesperson who deals with that, better yet ask your internet provider which one they recommend. I have Xfinity and they have sales people in Best Buy who will help you select the best one. I GOT THE next to the TOP OF THE LINE. Then i got an extender for the back room. I HAVE A LOT OF THINGS HOOKED UP. AND PKENTY OF VISITING FAMILY, so I needed a good hookup.

• I am running a Netgear X10 in the basement and I have the extender upstairs in the living room. I have had no problem getting full speed (gig wired, 500mbps wireless) wireless and wired. Good luck, hope this helps.
