I think it will certainly the area of access but not sure of the increase in signal strength - extender on extender, you may have to try it out and then decide if you want to keep X6S or return it.

But this extender never helped our phones or tablets at the far ends of my house. And it never worked on the 5 GHz band. So I recently added the Netgear EX8000 X6S extender. Great results in my 2,900 sq. ft. single floor house. We get a great 5 Ghz connection everywhere including the garage and back patio.
