- Answer I have AT&T UVerse and yes this is compatible; however, I have not noticed any faster or stronger signal than what I had. Working from home I had thought it would make a difference but not really.

- Answer Yes, it will work with any wireless router. Obviously works best with Netgear routers but will work with any router in the wifi network. Just download the Nighthawk app and follow the instructions. Great Range extender !!!!

QuestionI already have a FIOS modem/router, and I want a good extender without having to change the name of my network. Can I ADD the mesh extender to my network without changing its name?

QuestionWe live in an RV park that supplies free internet service from Spectrum. We do not have a router just need a password. The internet is weak and we loose connection. Will this mesh extender work for us.

QuestionI have a cax80 then I have the ex8000 as an access point. I am curious if I can add a second ex8000 as access point in garage. The first access point uses same wifi name and password as router and it connects easily. Didn't know if 2 was just as easy?

QuestionI am now working from home, and my job requires me to hardwire into a router/modem. However my office is upstairs and my modem is downstairs.... will this help me out? Can I hardwire into this extender for my computer?

- Answer Yes, there are 4 Lan type plugs in the back, however, the connection between your router and the extender is on a wireless basis. I suspect your work would not feel this meets their guidelines, but you may want to check. That part aside, this extender is excellent when it works, but that is rare. I bought three to pair with my high end netgear nighthawk routed. Our wifi and overall network goes down constantly. I returned two so far and expect to return the other this week. This will not be an issue for you if you are willing to power cycle your modem, router then the extender every day (sometimes twice in a day). Overall, this extender has huge flaws that make more of a problem than helpful.

QuestionI had a netgear wifi box,,it was 89.00..it was good,very good,,but it went out maybe a storm??..what would like ask is i live in a modular home so what is the best Lynxs or netgear,,i took my net gear back,,had to get the netgear,,the Lyn.?which is best?
