Yes it works with fios just fine.

This is the Netgear CM3000. It is a modem that requires a router. The Netgear AX6000 is a router with a modem included. I currently have the AX6000. It works great, but I want speeds closer to the Xfinity 2.5 Gbps plan I am paying for. I am upgrading to the CM3000 with a Orbi router mesh system.
