Yes, the model of this router should not affect connection from your computer using Windows 10. OS controls the functions of the PC itself, but doesn't affect the ability of the internal wireless card from connecting to the router. If your laptop is new, then you can fully utilize the AC capability of the router. If its slightly older, it will probably use the N. While this router is named AC, all newer model routers will also provide the slightly older N version as well.

yes. just wire it up to your cable/fios provider and it is easily set up. make sure you disable wifi from the providers router to prevent ipconflict.
