“I have a netgear router 7 years now, and I gave it to my husband to use at his business but seems very slow (N300). We need something for the computer , iPhone's,laptop,tablets and TV would this router be good for him? Does cable company matter? (Comcast)”

No this is not good for Comcast unless you want to half to reboot it every 24 hours.
