Yes. I have about 3,000 square feet in two floors and a basement. Verizon installed their latest ONT in my basement utility room two weeks ago. To simplify the setup, I put the router in the basement near the ONT. Placed there, its signal reaches every corner of the house. Eventually, I'll probably move the router to the first floor, which seems more ideal, but it works well as is.
