Yes this will work. Be aware it only has 8 ports, one of which is your feed from the modem/router leaving 7 available lines. If you don't need to connect more 7 wired devices it is good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your house is wired and has a patch panel then this is where this Switch should go. It will allow devices, Printers, Smart Hubs, Computers and anything that uses networking cables you described to be connected.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah, it would fit that requirement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on your modem. If your modem is also wireless and has multiple ethernet ports on the back, then yes, this will work. If your modem only has a single output, this will not work. This is a switch, not a router. This does not give out IP addresses as a router would. Wireless modems, also known as gateways will do this function for multiple devices and have a built in router to them. If your modem only has a single output and doesn’t have wireless then what you will need is a router (which conveniently also has multiple outputs). Netgear also has a nighthawk wireless router that would better suite your needs. So depending on your modem, this may work but it may also not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This switch has only 8 ports. If you need to hard wire more than that then no, but if you have 7 or less then yes this is what you are looking for.
