Not by itself but placing the router in the open as high and in the center of house helps. If it has issues with weak signals you may need to get extenders.

Have it away from microwaves and or refrigerator as it weakens signal and performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No legal router is that powerful, however, there is another technical solution. It sounds to me like you need a mesh network. You could use this router for the base of the network and then use a bunch of cheaper (or not if you are rolling in dough) to relay the wi-fi from room to room. The amount of routers and expense will be dictated by fast and well covered you want the house to be. You may need a network expert to set it up. Go look up "mesh network" on google and youtube to get a taste of how this will work.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our lower level is cinder block with Siding over it - and we had problems with Wi-Fi (on the main floor) too. Fixed the problem for us & we've had it at least a year if not a litle longer. Hubby watches TV (DirecTV), and uses his IPad, IPhone, Roku, and Kindle with the Wi-Fi. And I have never had to reset it - like I had to do with the old ancient one!!!
