You don't need to change anything - R8000 WAN ethernet port (connected to cable / DSL modem) can support up to 1 Gbps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The default mps is set at up to 600mps. You can verify that by signing into your router and select wireless.

First thing I did is, I went/call/chat with/to Cox to find it if the modem I have can support the upgraded 100mbps, you should have 3.0 DOCSIS. After that, changed the settings how you would normally do with router like name, security, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The physical ports on the router are 1 gig (1000MB one-thousand mbps) bandwidth. You should not have to do anything or make any changes for your 100MB service to work correctly. Not unless you have set bandwidth limiters on the device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The router should pick up the max speed from your ISP automatically. Shouldn't require changing any settings. If it's still being slow, you may try plugging a PC straight into the ISP modem and verifying that they have actually turned your speeds up.
