“Issues with 2.4 cutting out on my Nighthawk unit. Have they improved the newer models or just revised this model? I'm in desperate need to get it resolved since Streaming music on my Heos speakers has deteriorated. Incoming signal checked out fine.”

• I have had no problems with either 2.4 or 5 gh z bands dropping out.

• I replaced the earlier model (R8000) with this and had no problem with the earlier model or with this in a 4000 sq ft home. I added a Mesh Extender which improved speed in parts of the house but I never had problems with lost connections on either the 2.4 or 5 bands.
