This is true, you can backup the settings and manually restore them but it doesn’t always seem to restore every setting. Not to mention you shouldn’t have to do this in the 1st place for just a power cycle. Do not buy this router, complete junk. Buy a Linksys, I will never buy a Netgear product again. If you already purchased it return it while you still can.
