Yes, the backhaul channel will work over a wired network (there is a Netgear page about the subject), but unless you have a solid gigabit connection or your satellites are very far from the base, you may get better performance using the wireless backhaul.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this unit and currently have the satellite setup using an ethernet backhaul. It works just fine. One disappointment is that you still can't use the secondary 5ghz band that is reserved for communication between the units only.
