I can't say for sure in your case but my house is about 6000 sq ft as well with open unfinished basement, 3-floors incl basement. I don't have as many rooms so I don't have as many walls as you. We do not need internet in the basement so we didn't buy with that in mind. We purchased ORBI plus 2 satellites and that does it for the 2 main floors. ORBI and 1 satellite at the opposite ends of the first floor plus 1 satellite on the 2nd floor. You might have to experiment with the location of the satellites to get the best signal as they an project upwards and in all directions. Also depends on the number of devices and walls. If you have a ton of devices, besides the obvious TV/computers/tablets/phones, like blinds, appliances, door bell, wireless security system, these will chew up internet speed pretty fast. I just did a speed test in the basement and I got the results you see in the pics. With Fios 1 GBps, I got 889 / 930 MBps in the space underneath the router and 594/913 MBps at the furthest point from the router but in the space under where 1 satellite is. Hope this helps.
