You should able to install it on the 2nd floor on the opposite end of the house or a basement. Whichever location you are getting the lowest signal currently. The system works great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The satellite must be able to use WiFi to talk to the base. It is not sufficient to just make sure your devices have coverage in the house but they must be in range of each other. I don’t know if that changes if you can set up the wired backhaul since I have not yet done that. My house is unusual in that it blocks wifi so I’m sure you can separate them much further than I can but there are a lot of dependencies on your house and where you put them. They seem to have at least the range of anything else I tried
