This allows you to set up a separate iot network for rings, nests, etc. I am using it for my smart house devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This beast has 3 separate SSID - Main SSID for your Home Network, One for your IoT devices, and one for Guest Network. You can configure IoT Network only for 2.4 GHz and have all your IoT devices connected to that. Working for me rock solid for months now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can create an "IoT" network that is restricted to the 2.4GHz band, but the main and guest networks are carried over both 2.4 and 5GHz. The IoT network is not isolated from the main network, so any IoT devices that require direct connections (vs. cloud-serviced) will work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This has it own loT WiFi setting which enables 2.4Ghz network only access for smart home devices.
